A little preparation helps your visit run smoothly.

Virginia Beach: 2525 Oconee Ave, Suite 103, Virginia Beach, VA 23454.
Norfolk: 2600 Lafayette Blvd, Suite A, Norfolk, VA 23509.
Attend the location shown in your appointment confirmation.
What are your hours?
Appointments may be available from 7 AM to midnight, seven days a week, subject to staffing and confirmation. These are appointment hours, not walk-in lobby hours.
Can I walk in?
Services and check-ups require appointments. The lobby opens 10 minutes before your scheduled visit.
Can Sona text me the booking link without collecting my information?
Yes. Ask for the appointment-request link. The online form collects the details needed for your request, so you do not need to complete phone intake first. PALS must confirm the appointment.
What if I cannot use the booking link?
Sona can collect your preferred location, number of people, treatment or screening needs, preferred day and time, name, and callback number for team review. This is an appointment request, not a confirmed booking.
Do I need to complete registration?
Complete the registration and intake forms requested by PALS before your visit. Registration does not book or confirm an appointment.
Can I bring additional family members to be checked?
Only people listed on your appointment will be seen. Request additions beforehand so PALS can confirm enough time and staffing. This also applies to check-up appointments.
How should I prepare my hair?
Arrive with hair fully detangled and braids removed. Detangling is a separate service. Contact PALS before your visit if you need help preparing your hair.
What about extensions or dreadlocks?
Extensions must be removed for standard treatment. Dreadlocks cannot receive standard treatment. Contact PALS before booking to discuss screening limitations, service eligibility, or any applicable waiver.
What should I bring?
Bring valid photo ID and complete your required forms. Wear older, comfortable clothing and bring a sweater. If you have saved a suspected bug, bring it in a sealed bag or container.
Can we bring food?
Please eat before your visit. Outside food is not allowed in the clinic.
What if I arrive early or late?
The lobby opens 10 minutes before your appointment. If you arrive earlier, please wait in your car. If running late, text your estimated arrival time promptly. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late generally require rescheduling.
How long will my visit take?
Screenings commonly take 5–15 minutes. Many treatments take around an hour, but hair, findings, tangles, and the number of people affect the time. These are estimates.
How do I change an existing appointment?
Call or text 844-369-8170. The support line offers voicemail and a press-two option to text. Sona can transfer you without collecting your intake again.
